10/02/2014	Front page of google is probably this company: http://www.frontpagegoogle.co.uk/. They just called me too on my mobile, which I presume they got from google adwords because I did use that a few months ago to promo my website. On the phone today they offered me a limited availability advertising package for £499 (country level) or £150 (city level), saying they could get my site onto page 1 of google (top 3 ad slots or rightside ad bar) for 5 keyword combos of my choice. Sounded very legit. Decided not to agree to payment over the phone though. I also said that I was more focused on organic SEO, but the salesperson claimed that paying for google ads would mean my site ranked better generally! If this is true, then it would mean the way google ranks sites depends on who pays when what amount of money - quite corrupt. I believe this company is affiliated to google because they had my site info and knew what I was doing, but I'm not sure I trust them with regard to paid services (especially over the phone). My advice: take with a pinch of salt. Telemarketing Neutral
07/02/2014	I just got called by this number saying she worked for the "front page of google" - whatever that was meant to mean. It's just a nuisance to get these sort of calls. I had some fun pretending I was a complete idiot asking her to repeat everything for a couple of minutes and then hung up. I just wish these things could be banned however in the meantime, I proposing being even more annoying to them than they are to us. Unknown Nuisance
06/02/2014	They have just called me wanting to speak to the 'business owner'. When i asked what it was regarding she defiantly told me it was between the business owner & google. When i asked for more information because i will not put her through with just that info, she told me she will call back on another number later today if he hasn't called. Advised that's fine but until i have more info i will not put her through, once again she told me 'it had nothing to do with me it was between the business owner and google' and hung up....very very rude girl. 05/02/2014	Our company number is on the Telephone Preference Service for sales calls but they ignored that and called us anyway. The woman said they were calling from Google and now have a free slot to get us on the front page. I was a bit irritated that in the first sentence she was pretending that she was calling from Google. I had to ask her three times if they were actually part of Google or just one of their 'partner firms'. She got increasingly irritated and evasive but in the end she admitted that they weren't part of Google, they were 'affiliated' to Google, still misleading because that makes it sound like they're a connected company when they're not. I said I'm in a meeting at the moment and can't talk, plus we don't take sales calls on the number she was calling, and asked if she could send us an email instead. She put the phone down. Such a RUDE woman, such dishonesty. It's time these nuisances were stopped. They clog our phone lines so that genuine clients can't get through,they waste our time, and most seriously, they LIE. 28/01/2014	They called me twice a day for around 3 weeks before i finally picked up (I didn't bother answering for that long as it just looked like a sales call) They new my name and business name and when they asked to speak to the owner I said " who is calling" They then just hanged up . The number came from Manchester as it came up on my mobile ,It was also a young women . Unknown Neutral
