09/02/2020	Polite Indian Male confirmed he was calling from INDIA. He knew my name. No information confirmed and call terminated. Have recently had ongoing problems with B.T. where he said that a complaint "Level-1" was still in force, but he wouldn't have necessarily known that those recent-problems have been resolved by the British Telecoms' U.K. infrastructure. Have been informed by B.T., THAT THE INDIAN SECTION (involved with B.T. services) IS BEING (or has been) SHUT DOWN, so further calls from this type of number or the INDIAN inhabitants - should no longer be occurring as from about February 2020. BUT PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT INFORMATION - BELOW... Therefore as all previous details about any of B.T.'s customers previously obtained within any contractual-employment with B.T. in INDIA, MAY WELL BE WITHHELD BY PERSON OR PERSONS IN INDIA AND MISUSED BY VARIOUS METHODS - INCLUDING COPYING/SUPPLYING TO OTHER PARTIES/COMPANIES/ORGANISATIONS - WITHOUT THE EXPRESS PERMISSION OR AUTHORITY OF B.T. OR THE CUSTOMERS OF B.T., - PRESENT OR PAST, IS VERY LIKELY TO OCCUR. IN THE U.K., THIS WOULD ALMOST CERTAINLY BE A CRIMINAL &/or CIVIL-OFFENCE, BUT OBVIOUSLY INDIA HAS ITS' OWN LAWS WHICH ARE NOT THE SAME AND CANNOT BE ENFORCED FROM WITHIN THE U.K. ANYBODY RECEIVING FURTHER CALLS FROM THAT NUMBER, OR WHERE CLEARLY THE CALL-MAKER IS NOT ENGLISH, WELSH, IRISH OR SCOTTISH - SHOULD SIMPLY NOT SUPPLY ANY INFORMATION WHAT-SO-EVER - EVEN IF THE CALLER SEEMS TO KNOW YOUR NAME ETC. SIMILAR SCAMS & "FISHING" FOR PRIVATE INFORMATION - WILL VERY LIKELY OCCUR IN THE FUTURE, SO PLEASE DO NOT BE FOOLED INTO THINKING THAT AN UN-SOLICITED/UN-EXPECTED CALL (especially on a Sunday) IS FROM WHOM THE CALLER SAYS THEY ARE OR FROM...
