Cold call from a company called "First Response". Customer Services Advisor called Lindsay: "we have information that suggests you may have been involved in a car accident in the past two and a half years". She asked if this was true. I informed her that this is a cold call and requested their postal address. Lindsay said she "had only been working there for a few weeks and was not sure" and passed me to a mananger called Ian.

Ian requested to know why I required the postal address, and added that he was not obliged to supply it. When informed that I intended to write a letter of complaint about cold calling he repeately refused to supply the postal address. When I pointed this out he alleged that "I was not explaining why I required their postal address" after which he hung up.
