I have had the same call from this no! Saying. They were from windows nd my computer wasn't responding. Didn't want to talk to me when I said my computer has broken! Lost for words she was!!

It is a scam. Trying to . Access computers claiming them have a virus but them don't know what computer and they just said any computer. When challenged they end the call. Don't trust them.

Nuisance scammers, "we are calling regarding your Windows PC'. Best way to get rid of these people is to say you are not on Windows and in fact have a different kind of computer. This soon gets them to hang up. SCAMMERS WANTING REMOTE ACCESS TO YOUR COMPUTER TO SEE YOUR PERSONAL DETAILS. NEVER LET THESE PEOPLE ACCESS YOUR COMPUTER.

This was a scam call from someone who could bare speak English, claiming to be from the computer maintenance department at Windows. Told them "No you're not, you're a scam," and hung up.
