this number has just phoned me saying i was complaining to pc wizard that my computer was running slow. I handed the phone to my partner and he told him we had no problems and tried to get rid of him. The caller was very determined to get info from our pc and we ended up telling him to go. He then asked for our mobile numbers to which at that point we hung up. 2 mins later my mobile rang with the same guy. Call ended by us with a couple of choice words.

Received a call from this number. It is clearly a scam to attempt to get people to allow remote access to their computers in order to extract financial/bank details so that they can try to raid funds. I can't understand why this practice is allowed to continue, as it must certainly be illegal. The authorities should be able to identify these low-lifes and shut them down.

Went along with the scam. They took me to my event viewer by giving me instructions via the keyboard. Press Window Key then R. Type in eventvwr. They asked me what I saw. I said 9,000+ Red circle warnings. They said that is really bad. I said whast can you do they said they will pass me over to a techy. Who took me back to Window Key then R. Asked me to type iexplorer www.ammyy.com whilst I gave impression of doing this I asked them how much they charge for this service. They said as genuine microsoft user it is absolutely free. I said how does this fix work. They said don't worry sir we will look through your configuration and do the fix for you. I said oh I don't like the idea of someone remote accessing my computer especially from a cold call. They said that's ok - have a nice day and hung up. I am sure there will be some poor people that will go along with this and loose money and possibly the functioning of their computer...
