I was registering with the website provided by the Canadian Embassy in my country Trinidad and Tobago. A site for agents came up and I thought I was entering information onto the Embassy recommended website. Soon after I got a call from a Tom Johnson 16479465616 who claimed to be my Personal Accounts Manager and Adam Harry the Manager. During the call they asked for my first 6 digits of my credit card to confirm if it is legitimate. At the end of the conversation they convinced me to to give them my last 4 digits of the credit card. The line they used was 'Maam 300,000 people are applying for VISAs every day'. They claimed that it was a one off payment of US $2604 for a service that could take 6 to 18 months. I am 51 years old and have never given out my details like this before. These people are very convincing. The problem is I cannot find any trace of who they are. I have never experienced a scam before and I am not comfortable with this service. The Agency is called CanadianVisaExpert. Another number is 12262328472. I am very uncomfortable with the speed with which they are working. They said I would have to wait 75 days for my personal details to be checked and within 10 days I got a call for more details and additional payment of US$3000. This call was yesterday on a Sunday from a Jenny Morsen 117059953424. I became concerned when I started to search her name this morning and came upon it in this site. I am not a refugee and am not desperate to leave my country or get Canadian Residency. I am merely applying to give my children an opportunity to work outside of the Caribbean region. I have lodged a complaint to my bank and will be initiating a dispute through their investigative searches. The end result should be at best that the company has an unprofessional service or at worst it is a fraudulent credit card scam. If it is a fraudulent scheme I will further my investigation through the Canadian and UK embassies and police services
